The Committee received an overview of discussions from the recent Transition Advisory Group (TAG)
meetings which are focused on providing advice to Skills Ministers on transition and implementation to the new industry engagement arrangements.

Transition approach
The Committee discussed key risks and mitigation strategies for maintaining the national training system, including training product development and approval processes while new industry engagement arrangements are established.
Potential identified risks include:
• poorly managed handover of incomplete training products, hampering timely completion
• industry stops reviewing training products during the transition period
• loss of training product expertise/capability from the system over the short term.
